Output Commands

In @RISK, an output is designated using the Output button; select the cell that contains the output calculation and click the Output button in the @RISK ribbon. There are two modes to the Output command - adding a single output and adding an Output Range; both modes can access the Advanced Properties configuration for a single Output.

Designating an Output in @RISK does the following to the model:

  • Adds the Output to the Model Window, under the Output tab
  • Adds the Output to the results available through Browse Results
  • Enables the results to be included in Reports

Clicking the pull-down arrow at the bottom of the Output button provides a few options:

  • Define - If a single cell is selected, the basic output window will open; if a range of cells are selected, the output range window will open.
  • Remove - Removes the output designation from the cell; this leaves any existing formulas in the cell and only removes the RiskOutput function from the formula.
