The @RISK Menu

The @RISK menu is new in @RISK 8; it includes several categories of functionality related to @RISK, detailed below.

Additionally, the @RISK menu has been updated to include a notification feature; notifications can include messages related to available updates and patches, news items available through the Welcome screen, and other warnings about potential issues with a model.

Clicking the @RISK button opens a menu with the following options:

• Welcome to @RISK - Opens the Welcome screen which includes links to announcements, example files, and tutorials among other options. See Welcome Screen for more information.
• About @RISK 8.0 - Opens the About screen displaying the full product version and licensing information.
• Product Management
• • License Manager - Opens the Palisade License Manager window; the current license can be activated/deactivated, a different license can be chosen, or a new license can be added. See the License and Installation Guide for detailed steps and information on licenses and how to install or reinstall @RISK.
  • Check for Updates - Requires an internet connection. This option will check for any patches or updates available for the currently installed version of @RISK.
  • Usage Reporting - Enable or disable anonymous usage statistics that can be sent to Palisade to aid in product development and troubleshooting.
• DecisionTools Addins - Load additional add-ins from the DecisionTools Suite alongside @RISK.

• The addins available from this menu will only be active if the full DecisionTools Suite is installed!

• Unload @RISK Add-In - Manually unloads the @RISK add-in from Excel, switching to standard Excel functionality only.
